Würzburg-Schweinfurt University of Applied Sciences offers a wide range of courses in many different fields.The media management course provides the graduates with excellent opportunities to work both in the various fields of digital media and in the fields of print media, radio and television. Important features of this course are its close links to partners in the industries and the training with modern media in specially equipped media laboratories. The department of Computer Sciences and Business Computing has completely transformed into the Bachelor/Master System, for the non-technical faculties will start this programme in 2006/2007. Currently the University of Applied Sciences Wuerzburg-Schweinfurt is offering Master’s Degrees in four fields of study.
The training on the informatics for engineers course consists of a balanced combination of classic engineering training in the subjects of electrical and mechanical engineering with modern informatics methods, creating a valuable supplement to the other courses on offer at the Fachhochschule Würzburg-Schweinfurt. Würzburg-Schweinfurt is the only state university of applied sciences in Bavaria to offer a care management course. In contrast to the churchrun universities of applied sciences in Munich and Nuremberg, the course at the Fachhochschule Würzburg-Schweinfurt is particularly geared towards the business administration aspects.
