The University of Rosenheim has successfully introduced the final degrees “Bachelor” and “Master”, the syllabus with the degree of the German “Diploma” is to be discontinued. With its seven faculties and 23 courses of study in the areas of technology economy and design the University of Rosenheim offers a diverse and differentiated course of studies.

Beside the fields of study of the faculty for Applied Natural Sciences and Humanities, the bandwidth of the bachelor- or diploma courses of studies ranges from business studies, to Electrical- and Information Technology, Timber Construction, Wood Engineering, Interior Fitting, Informatics, Interior Design through to Plastics Technology, Mechatronics, Production Technology, and Industrial Engineering. For the winter semester 2010/11 both the new Bachelor courses of study in Energy- and Construction technology as well as Business Mathematics - Actuarial Sciences will start.

In addition to the bachelor- and diploma courses of study the University of Rosenheim has arranged seven postgraduate courses of studies. In the consecutive master courses of studies in Electrical- and Information Technology and Timber Construction the students can acquire the title “Master of Engineering”, in Industrial Engineering the title “Master of Science” and the Interior Architects the title 'Master of Arts”. For the winter term of 2010 moreover the Master course of studies 'Leadership and Internationalization of small and medium-sized companies” starts, and ends with a “Master of Arts”. The Postgraduate further education courses of studies “Timber Construction for Architects” and “Management and Leadership competences” lead to the award of the title “Master of Engineering” or “Master of Business Administration”. Interdisciplinary lectures and seminars, practical projects, one-to-one coaching and a curriculum which can be individually adapted, make possible in so doing an effective and market-oriented design of the education for Master students. It is also particularly important for the University of Rosenheim to offer more courses in English and the involvement of international guest lecturers so as to extend the spectrum of the courses on offer. The challenging addition to the program of teaching is very well received by students.
