All degree courses are continually updated through ongoing interaction with industry. The more widely offered study programs are complemented by highly innovative courses, many of them unique in Bavarian Universities of Applied Sciences:

 

European Business Studies students spend 2 years abroad at partner universities in Britain, France, Spain and the Netherlands. These in turn send students to Regensburg as part of the same programme. At the end of the 4th year, spent at their home university, students receive a double degree.

 

The extremely successful Mechatronics course was set up at the urgent request of industry, as was the innovative, interdisciplinary Microsystems Engineering course. This deals with design, construction and manufacture of products of minute dimensions, and involves elements of applied physics, chemistry, production engineering, electronics and information technology. The Mathematics course provides a unique focus on engineering, IT and insurance and banking.

 

Even more recently the courses of Sensors and Chemical Analysis, Computing in Medicine, Social Services in Schools and Social Work with Music and Movement have been started.
