Applied research and development is granted high priority at the University of Applied Sciences - München. Over the years, research has been carried out in close cooperation both with partners in industry and with public sponsors. The university is able to offer research and development services in more than a dozen different fields and successfully solves complex inter-disciplinary problems in cooperation with its partners. 170 laboratories with all the latest equipment provide an ideal research environment.
Research communities are formed in so-called ‘competence centres' in the fields of engineering, business, social sciences and design in order to combine expertise, ideas and skills. 80 joint projects in 2007 alone point to a successful future for the cooperation between science and industry at the University of Applied Sciences - München.
