Professional academic training in a personal atmosphere and with international orientation is the key feature of Kempten University of Applied Sciences. Established in 1977 and starting off teachings in Business Administration in winter semester 1978/79, the University has continuously expanded its study range which now covers the areas business, social, engineering and computer science as well as multimedia studies. Consecutive Master Programmes deepen and widen the study offer and take them to the postgraduate level.
Kempten University maintains links with some 80 universities world-wide, which makes it easy for you to add an international dimension to your studies.
Much emphasis is also put on further education. You may achieve additional qualifications to come up to the requirements of today's labour market by participating in our special interest lectures or seminars, lecture series leading to a certificate and our Master's degree programmes. All these courses are held on university level in order to satisfy recent demands in education and job training and to ensure your personal professional success.
Kempten is a city of history and southern charm. 2,000 years old, it is one of the oldest towns in Germany, situated in the centre of the Allgäu, the southernmost holiday region in Germany in the foothills of the Bavarian Alps. On warm summer evenings our town hall square will remind you of an Italian "piazza", and in winter it serves as picturesque setting for our Christmas market. In terms of culture there is something for everyone: the famous Neuschwanstein castle is close by, and so is the hiking and skiing paradise Allgäu: located in the middle between Lake Constance, Munich and the Bavarian Alps you will combine your studies at Kempten University of Applied Sciences with the best variety of leisure and recreational activities possible.
