The atmosphere at the Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences is informal. The close contact between students and teaching staff is of particular advantage. Teaching is done in small groups, guaranteeing efficient, qualified training based on individual requirements. Both the professors' extensive experience and small projects with industry are included in the teaching programmes. The courses lead to Bachelor and Master degrees. With the release of the new higher education act, continuing education is still more strongly anchored in the university than before. Next to research, teaching and studies, it has become an additional pillar of the universities. Target group of the academic continuing education at the Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences are employees who want or need to qualify further alongside their job. Currently there are courses of studies leading to a Master degree as well as offers for university certificates. Furthermore, seminars, workshops and series of lectures on up-to-date topics are on offer.
